foley sound experiment and evaluation.


 foley sound experiment 

 To create foley sounds i use paper to create a fire crackling sound. By doing this i just scrunched up the paper to make this sound. I used a microphone to encance the sound and make it sound more realistic. I did this in a quiet space with no people so there was no other background noise. I had to use 3 different devices for this which was a camera, the camera with the microphone and a phone. The three different experiments i did was fire crackling, rain and a busy restaurant. 

 


 

 

 

For the rain i make the sound effect by tapping on the window to make it sound like rain drops. For the busy resturant i walked through the canteen while it was busy and i also waited for the bell to ring for all the kids to come out of lesson so it would be loud, and you could hear people talking. 

 

 

 


 

In my opinion, i feel like the iPhone produced the best sound as i found it to be the one which was the clearest. I used the voice memo app and i recommend using an iPhone as it is easy and convenient and picks up all the sounds.

initial ideas

  Initial ideas 1.          There is a dad who became rich and wealthy out of nowhere when he wasn ’ t, but his daughter does not know where the money has come from as the mum has not worked a single day in her whole entire life. The daughter then has a motive to figure out what her mum has been hiding but is then hit with sudden events affecting her to find out the truth.
